Welcome to the official website of the Tunnel Hill Heritage Center and historic Western and Atlantic Railroad Tunnel.  Here you will find just a small sampling of the historic treasures awaiting your discovery.

Whether you come with your family, a school field trip or just by yourself, you’ll enjoy the artifacts and memorabilia in the museum.  From there, it’s only a short drive (or walk on a nice day) to the historic 1850 Western and Atlantic railroad tunnel entrance.  And you’re sure to see a train or two along the adjacent railroad tracks!

Looking for a little more action?  Make plans to attend the annual Battle of Tunnel Hill Civil War Reenactment the weekend after Labor Day each September.

And before you leave, take home a memory from the gift shop at the Heritage Center!
